Season 3 is almost here, and I have another pony thing to make your party awesome!
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Trading Card Game! The link takes you to the Facebook for the game, and from there you can get to the wiki, the DA group, and the forums.
This game is completely fan made (as you should know, if you followed the link), and is still very unknown (think of the hipster cred!). There are a full set of cards on the Wiki, but not many have official artwork yet. Still, it is a fully playable game with in-depth strategy and mechanics. The game has the feel of Magic the Gathering, and a similar deck building technique (based around cards elements). I have been following along with the development of this game, and helping out where I can, which is mostly organizational stuff like the Facebook page. The team is still open to more people, so if you have a knack for art, we would love to add your style to the game's, and if you are a programmer, we could use you to help the others who are working on making an online version of the game.
So yeah, if you like TCGs, you should give this a try, I have played with a few friends, and it is a great way to spend time waiting for ponystuffs!

On a half unrelated topic, I have the entire pokémon card first base set D:
Though I can't really see how the trading will be effective in this TCG xD, I can't really see people doing it in school and going over people's houses is just effort. That and there will only be like 4-5 (if that) IRL bronies per person, unless they're like very young >_>

I never really got into Trading Card Games, no offense
for Pokemon, I just had them just to have them, and then i'd attempt to play but secretly (along with everyone else) had no idea of what to do
And i'm PRETTY sure i've seen MLP cards at 7-11 before, and this would have been about a month or two ago

Wait bob, what do you mean, 4-5 bronies per person? Are you saying that for every one person there are 4-5 bronies? And in what context? I will admit, considering the basis for getting cards in this game is printing them out, trading will not be much of a thing. Although, hey, if the group ever makes legit cards, then maybe those will get some trades, I dunno.
There is a completely playable (but still growing) set of Character, Item, Memory, and Location cards, its just that only 11 cards have complete graphics so far. I started before there were any graphics, just hardcore printing out text and putting it on index cards.
And swan, yes, there are some official MLP cards or something, but if they even form a card game, it is probably bad. This card game is, as I said, completely fan-done, made by people who know how a card game works, not by business heads at Hasboro who may have seen their Children playing yugioh.
Also, as it turns out, we really do need more programmers, so anyone who can do that will be loved forever and maybe get a cookie.

What I meant was is that chances are, each brony (here atleast) prob only has real life contact with 4-5 other bronies, around those numbers

Oh. That makes a lot more sense ;p And yeah, I get it, but hey, I mean its still a fun game to play while you are waiting for ponies to load/be on tv.

BUT i watched it with my friend, and it was a worthy entry to the new season. 30 minutes before, and a lot of commercials FROM bronies were being put out there
And the part where pinkie pie dressed up as fluttershy made us laugh our ass off
The worst thing about this though was you didn't get to see the aftermath of everyone at the end, and Somber had hardly ANY dialouge (wasn't fleshed out at all, and he looked weird[ly animated?])
