He really could have been replaced by a giant looming billboard with "EVIL" written across it in big, scary letters and have about the same villainous effect. I couldn't even remember his name, had to go look it up! But who knows, maybe with that glaring foreshadowing with his horn flying away, we might get to see more of him later in the season.

Sure would be interesting to see a villian return.
Im also rather disappointed from sombra (i think thats how hes written). He has no story and not even his motives are clear.
But I have to say, hes impressively powerful.
Anway, I already found a way to adapt him into the MI universe logically. As always.

If they are going to have him return, then I think they left out th e backstory/depth of him on purpose

Anyway, ive been thinking about what you said about them going to teach Twilight black magic.
I think both is true, my idea of them making her an alicorn and yours of them teaching her black magic.

At the end of the two parter, luna summons a dark book with magic symbols on it.
I think thats a hint that she is going to take over twilights training and teach her her dark magic.
That also would explain why twilight was forced to try the corruption spell celestia taught her so much.

Cmon guys, her name is saying it all out loud. She is Twilight. She needs both, light and darkness.

Once she mastered both, the light magic and the dark magic, i think they will make her an alicorn.

After all, she would make a perfect co-ruler of Equestria. She is social, very powerful and overly organized.
Especially the last point would be a huge support in managing the land.

So for the past 2 seasons we have learned about love and friendship.....Now we learn Hate and enemies. Me like

However, Luna taking over makes a lot of sense

Pinkie has had a good season so far

A very good one. But what really took the biscuit was the fact that, after rainbow saw the pinkie clone, she didnt even give a fuck really.

By now, it is so casual to see pinkie do the impossible that even the cartoon characters dont really react with confusion and stun anymore.
