Server Closing

That is it, there are some problems with some of my redstone, I will fix it and post the new world.

In the 1.5 update they broke the form of memory I was using in redstone, lame. I will get it fixed in a week or so and post an updated version.

I also had a slightly updated version where I went over and pasted that dark market back and cleaned up a bit with the islands and all that, just effort finding it and making it all download linky >_>.

I need to redo the switches and all the memory I was using in the black market.

undetermined, not for at least 2 weeks or so, incredibly busy with school and that server hasnt been turned on in over a year.

FAQ on why the server is not running.

Q: Is the server down?
A: Yes, it's official. The minecraft server hosted @ freedsuniverse.com is not running anymore.

Q: Why did it shutdown?
A: In short, lack of funds.
The server was running through a hosting company. Reasoning for shutdown was due to lack of funds as a result from few to no donations over an extended period of time. Pat, the host figured he had paid enough of his own pockets to keep it running.

Q: Can I have the server/server setup?
A: There is nothing to get. The host was rented and the setup is now out of date and also requires a remake to work properly again. In layman terms, better off starting from scratch. However, If you want to host your own server, I recommend reading @ www.bukkit.org Look in the forums for guides and such. Optionally, search on YouTube. If any staff is around here still, im sure they can help you as well.

Q: Will there be a another minecraft server later?
A: Never say never, but don't count on it.

Q: But my builds! They are now goooone!
A: Look at the first page in this thread. We had the map for download during a limited time while the server was still up, unfortunately it's not working anymore now. If you missed it, you are out of luck then.

Anyone here who cares: Orcworm, the server that merged with this one before death may be back! they need donations and anyone who wants to join. IF you dont, dont. Is this even advertisment even if freeds is down? and also these were the same server.
