I think it's different because green is for own faction, red for enemy and purple for ally. In other words it changes for everyone so I doubt it's a thing that can be easily changed unless he removed faction tags and just went around changing people's names as them or something.

As in... the persons color will make the faction tag the same color?... And for me. most factions are White, and Demigods is lime green.

Your own faction is always lime green.
enemies = red
neutral = white
