Sign/chest shop configuration

Hi Everyone, should we have the chests at the 4th block below a sign with the sign at eye level (2nd unit above floor, 3 free blocks between chest and sign) like on the tutorial?


or should it be 2 below, so there is only one block between the sign and the chest?
So if you have your chest at floor level, the sign will be at the 2nd block up, aka eye level

I think the current "3 blocks gap" is pretty good tbh, lets you organise your stock room a bit better. I can see why the others would be better for individual shops, but if you could have a "storage floor" then it may make it easier to maintain!

It's nice if you have a one story shop
but let's face it, in a city, you don't have much room, and most people tend to make a second floor.

With the big gap, you need to make an "inbetween" storage floor and can pretty much only have shops every other floor

Ahh i understand what's meant by the other option better now, I thought you meant 2 blocks between, so the chest would be one block under the floor. Yeah, one block between sign and chest is much better!
