Pat, do you have Verizon or Comcast, from my experience Verizon can be pretty shit randomly..so yeah just a guess perhaps.

What are you running for java on the server machine, and is the machine 64 bit?

32 or 64 bit. The 64 bit version allows for more ram to be allocated to java in the run script for craftbukkit.

The packet loss test went fine, it seems my internet lags every few mins just like the server does.

Impossible to tell who it was, might be able to get the city their isp is on though. I would first call the ISP and see what they think about this, and I would also check incomming traffic and such to see if you can find something.

Try switching the server address, so that your website and stuff aren't pointing to your house/computer.

ugh, there's nothing you can do if their service is bummed...first thing you shoulda done after the basic checks is contact them -_- , cant believe we wasted all this time (assuming that they will tell you the problem) do it now...
