Returning after a long hiatus

Hey,

I haven't played Minecraft a while, the last thing that was happening on the server was the switch to a new map ( I think it was 1.8 to 1.9?) Anyway, I am getting a new computer so I thought I would fire up Minecraft again and I was wondering what the server is like now. How large is the population? Is there plenty of empty unclaimed territory on the map? What factions/towns are there?

Not much has changed, we have towny currently but its buggy and bloated and I dont think the players actually like it. Now that I've finished exams, a new spawn area, jobs, and some other stuff are coming.
