Just a poll about a creative map

So tell me forum do you want a creative map?

Put it as a sponsor thing an make it ungreifable so you can buy rights to land for the month if you feel like making something permanent.... like something for show, everyone can go to it, but only a sponsor can build on it, then we should get mainly nice builds... could be the server's talent showcase

Details are being discussed, we first want to know if its worth the effort.

i always wanted the server to have a creative map so i voted hell yes!!!

I said nah. If you really want to make something awesome you don't need creative, and it's more rewarding.

Think about it, if you really want a survival map you could just make your own....

The point is to appeal to a larger crowd.

In expense of my 666th post (Ferm your 777th is coming up ), if I had not used creative to finish my mansion. It would not be finished... I would much rather the satisfaction from the finished project in creative over the lack of product at all, a creative side server would also show every builder to their full potential aswell, I mean everyone would have all the materials they need.

Another huge benefit is that we can show each other these builds and help each other, you can get ideas of what to put in the survival world from the creative one if you are that intent of doing it legit. Besides all that, we have a really awesome spawn idea to put in as the hub between worlds. The shit's cool...

Besides, you don't have to go on that world at all anyway

MultiWorld inventory could be used. Link the end, neather, and Earth. Set creative to a differnt inv.

Survival's where it's at. Then people have to work to rebuild.

We aren't removing the survival world, just adding a creative. It'll probably be a flatland world so people have reason to go on both, one to plan builds, and the other to splore and build them. Besides, guests will likely only be able to look around in the creative and have to sign up to actually do stuff.

This way:

1. Griefers'll probably be like 'fuck that shit' and just grief the survival or something, which is easier to fix.
2. We'll get more peeps on the forums

I think using creative as a blueprint sound handy so ill go with yes.

this is true, but why not have it on a multiplayer to encourage people to log in, stay on. and be able to interact with the server while doing their stuff. +Having other's judgement on your build before it's made is helpful for figuring out if you like the build or not.

No, I've been on a few server's where you have to sign up to do anything, and I was like "Fuck that shit". If we want players, we need it to be for guests, but members and up get more plots, and more stuff. But no. If you want creative you can make a private server, or single player.

If this gets added it wouldn't be the main map. The creative map would be in addition to the survival map. The pros are exactly as bob stated. More people. With more people we have the possibility of more donations, more donations means server stays alive =p. If you don't want to play in creative then you don't have to is the other plus side.

I just replied to it. It may not be a bad idea to give people perms to go to another world after they sign up. It increases membership. It's not hard to do, and it doesn't take long. It will also keep one timers off the creative world, but that also may be a bad thing to this whole creative world thing.
