message to pat admins and mods (aka staffers) i downloaded too many items about 2 weeks ago and just about 5 minutes ago when i opened my inv the too many item thingy popped up! i dont know if theres a bug or if mods are now allowed but what should i do?

obviously but should i get rid of it somehow or just be trusted not to use it?
i tried it on another server and it told me i did not have access to the command should i try it on here to??

If you do try it use dirt or something 
if it works get rid of it and just keep it somewhere else incase you want to use it for single player or something, besides it uglies up the inventory anyway

It's for if you have access to /give. Really useful, instead of typing out the entire command.

Anyone can have TMI installed and just because you see the menu doesn't mean anything. It's not a bug.

It's there because it becomes part of the user interface. However in SMP - it can only be used by Staff and Admins.
That's the rule of thumb I've been told.

its simple. inventory is handled server side. too many items will not do anything in multiplayer. you may think you have the item, but the moment the server updates you dont, and if you try to place the item in the world it is blocked as if you did not have permission. drop the item and it is nothing more than a client side ghost only you can see or pick up.
although too many items may have been updated to work with the /give command automatically commanding the server if you are an OP. This again would only help op/admin players.
