i tried to put in a texture pack now my minecraft is black. i will not be on for a while intill i fix it,so my minecraft screen is not black. if anybody knows how to fix it tell me plz. i will be searchin for some help in youtube.once i fix it i will be on the sever again.btw tell pop to look at this,i love her!

i put in like a normal texture pack but when i pressed it, my minecraft screen went black. also i did not see what to do before i installed the texture pack and i said to make a new file with mcpacher first.

okay, with mcpatcher... you just run it, hit patch, then test mc, then if it works, use your new texture pack
if not, get a clean version of minecraft, run mcpatcher, then test mc

just reinstall minecraft if it's messed up that bad -_- and don't try it again...
also try deleting the META-INF folder when you open the minecraft.jar in winrar or similar

to get a clean minecraft (for the record) you simply start the minecraft launcher and before you login you click on options, then you click force update (it will say 'Will force!') and then log in, it will download a brand new minecraft for you, you never have to buy it again, the payment is registered with the account and you can download infinite copies of the game, even to other people's computers, for free. If by some magnificnet accident you've even lost your minecraft launcher too, you simply login at minecraft.net and then click download to get a new launcher...for free as many times as you want after the initial purchase

They pretty much told you everything you need to know. But fyi, with mcpatcher theres no need to open your jar. Leave it alone. and perhaps try reading about things before you try them. Almost all 32+ texture pack forums tell you explicitly that you NEED Mcpatcher. also none of it should affect multiplayer.

I used to think default was good... then I got a different 16x texturepack... and was like OMG default sucks... then I got a 64x texturepack... and I'm like, default looks like shit

yeah, i've played with bordercraft and was like O.O this is amazing! like 3z did/still use(/s) but then when minecraft updated to like 1.4 or something i couldnt be fucked with it anymore, so i just went default and its all coo' even if notch DOES suck at pixel art
