public /home killing

As a lot of you are very aware, i am a heavy pvp player on the server, and a lot of my kills are heavily assisted by using public /home commands for very quick and unexpected attacks, which usually results in an easy kill for me, and a lot of rage and the usual accusation that i, in fact, just plain out /tp killed them.

When playing on Orc's server i used to think that using people's public /home to kill people was as much of an offence as using /tp to kill people, and it is of my opinion that it should be just that. People should not be allowed to use /home commands to go killing people. People set their homes as public as they want people to come to their city or their home for people to view at their creations etc etc, and then these people have a real crisis when others (like me) are using /home player continuously to ambush them at every other moment. I just don't think it, at all, is in the correct spirit of pvp.

I just created this post as i wanted to know what you guys all think...

I say no, i find it quite unfair and ruins your day quite a bit.

it hasn't much ruined my day yet but i know that i've recieved a lot of rage and hate (even as far as people trying to have me banned! :O) and i don't agree that it should be allowed anyway, but, i do believe in taking every advantage you have available to kill

Though some people may see it as a hastle, there is an easy way to get around this problem. Make your home private and invite those that you want there. If you choose not to do this I see no reason why it can't be 'abused'. Get some friends to come on over, have a pvp war, and have some fun.

This. Is why I vote yes*. If you to leave yourself open to being blindsided then you deserve to be killed in your own home. (happens to me on occation even with private mode).

I find it ironic that I WAS going to vote yes until I read your post and you supported yes. Going to take advantage of it while you can, eh?
