the nether (old and new one) have been really glitchy. When you enter the nether it isnt laggy at all but once you are in the nether for a few minutes it starts to get rly glitchy. Your screen will start to freeze for about 2 seconds every 10 seconds and it is impossible to move and it gets really annoying. (pat i know u noticed this yesterday wen you started the new nether but can u try to fix it). The longer you are in the nether the worse it gets. The freezing will be more frequent and it will last longer. It just destroys any idea of doing stuff in the nether. (I have talked to some people and they have the same issue)

Also, Bob is dead on with the generation of the nether world causing the lag. If everyone remains in chunks that have previously been generated, it should run normally.
