Re: Oi Pat
I'll put it up for a week or so, but its intent was to keep items from the map switch, not a lazy person's home. >_>

Re: Oi Pat
why though? there is absolutely no harm feasibly conceivable as to why the warehouse can't be there...

Re: Oi Pat
As pat said before it was a 'temporary' place. That means not there forever... There is no real reason to keep it. All items should have already been moved. We can set a staff warp just incase a special case arrives.

Re: Oi Pat
On the contrary, there's no reason NOT to keep it. Besides, if we already have one it wont be as much hassle the next map change.

Re: Oi Pat
No reason other that on the creation of the warehouse we stated that it was temporary.

Re: Oi Pat
I know I seem argumentative now, but Pat didn't actually warn us that he was going to remove the warp, he just did it. At that time a few people still had stuff there, and some of it was stolen before it was removed unreported due to lock resets at the time. Now the logs are too old and got deleted so anything that was stolen then we can't tell now, some logs are still there I suppose, but very few.
Moral of the story then: Pat should have left it open to catch the stealers.
Moral of the story now: People still have stuff in there they may want to use, plus if anyone did set homes down there, if we let people in to check their chests we can check for logs to see if stealers can be caught yet.

Re: Oi Pat
Its basically free no-pvp zones for people.
Ex: Nearbeer's home is set in the warehouse.

Re: Oi Pat
Well, near is the main pvper, so having his home set in the pvp warehouse is a good thing because that means he hasnt got his home set anywhere pvp possible...

Re: Oi Pat
Nonononono, Near IS the pvper, the fact that his home is in the warehouse means other people aren't as endangered.
