DEATHMATCH ARENA COMING SOON <3

so me and khandi figured out that even though theres no pvp allowed on our nether fortress region, we can still hurt eachother with arrows. this is awesome because as soon as we figure out a few minor details we can have people over for bow/arrow deathmatches without worrying about people griefing. its still a very new idea to me and this may have even been done before but how do you guys feel about this idea? and btw our nether fortress is layed out -perfectly- for a good deathmatch arena <3

I'm not sure how you all can hurt people still, but it sounds interesting, I have never liked sword fights in minecraft cause their unbalanced and unskilled. Bow+Arrow fights actually require a degree of skill to be good.

I'm interested in this project. If help is needed give me a holler. =D

ya pyr i'm not sure either. i would think bow and arrow damage would have been removed as well but thankfully it hasn't. swords however have been disabled so just as you said it will actually take a bit of skill.

and ferm, thanks amigo right now our problem is that we have a huge farm just outside the protection zone that i'm sure would be griefed by people who are careless so we are working on raising funds to extend the protected zone. soon as we do that though i think some regular tourneys are in store

Eh, just wall it in with ob =D unless you find a shortage of lava in the nether....

i won't lie to you ferm.. i'd rather stand in front of a spider spawner for 8 hours without afking than do that XD

Good old redstone/obs trick. Good for quick wall/bunker fabrications.

It's technically not infinite, cause you can run out of redstone. But when would that ever happen....
